Overview
This 10 mL vial contains water with no bacteriostatic preservative. Because it has no benzyl alcohol, researchers use it in protocols where a preservative could affect an assay or interact with other materials. Without a preservative it is meant to be used as a single-use container. “Sterile Water” is the manufacturer’s product name; refer to the product label for lot specifications.

Storage and handling
Store unopened at 15–30°C (59–86°F), ideally 20–25°C (68–77°F). Keep the cap on and keep vials out of direct light. Don’t freeze. Treat each vial as a single-use container and discard any unused portion once opened, following your lab’s procedures. Always follow the storage information on the product label.
